UC San Diego, Literature and Art (2008). Core interests: Aldous Huxley, Frankfurt School, historical avant-garde, philosophy, poetics and literary criticism. Los Angeles Chinese family settled in upper middle-class Monterey Park. Financial crisis-period university student, she left a UC graduate program, appalled by humanities academia. Working as a legal copy editor online, she struck up correspondences with a few older writers. She moved to Carlsbad during the pandemic lockdowns, where she lives with her two cats. She recently received an equivalency to teach writing classes at Mesa College based on her publications in obscure journals.
